Pillow Plump Lipgloss in ‘Nude In Town’

Long time no see guys! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in about 2 weeks-my exams are coming up and I’m really pulling my socks up to ace them which brings me to my disclaimer: I’ll only be posting here and there when I have time. My exams finish in the space of a week and I’ll have a good 3 months free of vigorous posting which I’ll be SO psyhced to do because I have something exciting to show you guys *a million moon face emojis*.

Anyway cracking on with this post, my mum picked me up from school the other day and decided to surprise me with the Soap and Glory Kick Ass concealer because she’s the bestest mum in the whole wide world ❤ Anyway she told me she got it for £5 and I freaked out because Soap and Glory products are more on the pricey side of drugstore. She then continued to tell me how there was a whole shelf of reduced Soap and Glory products and she so kindly took me to town and waited in the car while my inner shop-a-holic screamed with excitement. So I picked up some other products. There were a lot more items on the shelf such as the sexy motherpucker lipgloss but it was in clear…I mean who wants shiny lips when you can just lick them (after a good ol’ brownie sundae *wink wink*). I did see the brow pen that I’ve been wanting for ages but you know, conveniently it wasn’t in my shade was it? 😦

So this was the result of probably the shortest shopping trip I’ve ever been on. But I got all these bad boys for *drum roll* £5!!!! Yep, £5 and to top it all off it was also buy one get second half price so I got, maybe £40 worth of products for £15…thank you mum and bank of dad for being aware of what a bargain we nabbed and allowing me to nab it. The whole saving money thing really made up for the brow pen not being in my shade didn’t it? 🙂

You can get Soap and Glory products from you local Boots or if you prefer to shop from the comfort of your home then head on over to their website www.Boots.com 🙂 Which reminds me…I need to order some of those NYX Lip Lingerie’s for myself…I think you’ll know what’s going to come up next!

Thanks for reading my sweets~until next time! ❤

My Top 5 Foundations

Hellooooo everybody! I’ve recently been on a search for a new foundation as I’ve wanted to try something new and that’s when the idea of sharing my favourite bases occurred to me.

I don’t have a massive foundation collection to begin with (I have about 8 altogether) but I like to think that’s because I made a good choice in the kind of products I picked that I don’t really need to buy any more.

I cheated a little bit by including the Nivea tinted moisturising day cream. It doesn’t really count as a foundation but the product itself is amazing! I’ve talked about it before so I’m not going to ramble on too much but the coverage is great for something that’s supposed to only do minimum and it’s not cakey at all. Not to mention it’s super cheap!

My other two drugstore faves are the L’Oreal True Match and the Bourjois Healthy Mix. Again I’ve talked about them before as well them being popular foundations to begin with so I’m not going to talk too much about them but the True Match is a heavier coverage; it’s medium but buildable whilst the Bourjois is light but again, buildable. Both amazing foundations and extra points for L’Oreal for catering for darker skin tones!

The Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua (another one I’ve mentioned before) gives a very light, velvetty finish. It’s not glowy but it’s not cakey and matte and makes your skin look youthful and complexion even. Now for the Clinique one. My mum brought it because she fell in love with a sample I brought from a Clinique counter but I had no idea what foundation it was because me being the idiot I was didn’t have the name written down! Anyway we brought this one via judgement and well, I guess it worked. I really love it. It’s definitely more heavier coverage maybe because it’s a concealer and foundation in one so I usually use it for special occasions but it doesn’t dry up makes my skin look great. I don’t even need to use that much powder on top because my oiliness doesn’t really seep through as much with this on. A hefty price tag at around the £25 mark but I’d highly recommend it if you like coverage!
