Hello my sweets! 🙂 2015 has flown by in a blur and I don’t doubt that the same will happen in 2016, so before I start I’d like to tell you to make the most of this year!

I have been loving using all these products throughout 2015. My Nivea grapefruit moisturiser is so hydrating and absorbent and works great as a primer for my foundation. Speaking of foundations I have been switching between my 2 most used ones, the L’Oreal True Match and Bourjois Healthy Mix. The Bourjois is a light coverage and quite dewy, very buildable and the colour matches perfectly to my skin. The True Match is the opposite. It’s more of a fuller coverage but makes your skin look amazing! I’ve heard a lot of people rave about both of these foundations. They’re both drugstore as well so super affordable. My mum brought me the Chanel Vita-Lumiere Aqua from duty free. The finishing is quite matte and it evens my skin very well. I only use it on special occasions but definitely a foundation that’s worth investing in if you’re looking for something more high end! I’ve loved using a foundation sponge to blend my foundation (bristles falling off cheap brushes is very annoying!). I only brought mine for a £1 from Primark and let me tell you that you definitely get your moneys worth. This is my second sponge actually 🙂

A recent love of mine (and a bit of a cheat actually since I only started using it 2 days ago!) is the Freedom contour and highlight stick. It’s very creamy and so very easy to blend. I really didn’t like it at first as I had brought mine in light and thought it made no difference in giving me some prominent cheekbones but I thought I’d give it another go and I love it! I have still yet to try the highlighter so eyes peeled for feedback on that in the near future!

My probably-can’t-survive-without-it product out of all of them is the Make-up Revolution Arch and Brown Shape. It’s made doing my eyebrows so much easier and definitely makes them look amazing. I don’t usually fill it in with the felt tip end. I use the Beauty UK brown palette to fill it in once I’ve done the frame/shape and I always get compliment on my brows. Both are super cheap and super worth it…they’ve really upped my brow game this year.

So as not to bore you by going through every product (feel free to comment asking me about any products) I think the one worthy of a last mention is my favourite MAC lipstick ever. ‘Creme in your Coffee’ is a very brown nude and it suits my skin perfectly. It’s a cremesheen finish and so very creamy and not drying at all. I would love a colour like that in the matte finish as well as I think it’d look so great. The Revlon Colourburst lipgloss is basically ‘Creme in your Coffee’ in lipgloss form. The colours are very similar so if you want a cheaper alternative or to check if the colour suits you I’d highly recommend going for the Revlon gloss before buying the MAC lipstick.

Thanks for reading my lovlies ~ until next time! ❤
